We’ll be in Edinburgh for the festival season, working alongside venues, technicians and production teams from fit-up onwards.
On this page you'll find resources to help you prepare for your time in Edinburgh, including online training materials, video tutorials and downloads that you can explore before you arrive.
You'll also find details of the support available throughout build, programming, previews and performances, with our team on hand to help with troubleshooting, networking, system setup and more.
Looking ahead, we'll be running a series of informal training sessions in mid-August, giving you the chance to develop your skills, explore new workflows and get hands-on with the latest ETC tools and technologies.

Informal training sessions
Got the lighting bug and want to learn more? Once the tools are down and the programming gloves are off, join us for informal training sessions – a relaxed chance to ask questions, pick up new workflows, and explore new ideas.
All sessions take place at The Study Hub, 40 George Square, Edinburgh (on the corner of David Hume Tower). When you arrive, head to the Assembly Studio Bar, where the FOH staff will direct you to our space. There's no need to register – simply turn up to any sessions you'd like to attend.
